This policy applies to our website at quper.co, our cloud cost intelligence platform, and any related services (collectively, the "Services"). If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
We collect information in three ways — directly from you, automatically
through your use of the Services, and from third-party sources.
Information you provide:
• Account registration details — name, work email address, company name, and role
• Communication content when you contact support or respond to surveys
• Payment and billing information, processed via a PCI-compliant third-party
processor
• Newsletter subscriptions and event registrations
Information collected automatically:
• Usage data — pages visited, features accessed, session duration, and interaction
patterns
• Device and environment data — IP address, browser type, operating system, and
referring URL
• Performance telemetry used to diagnose errors and improve service
reliability
Information from third parties:
• Cloud provider metadata you authorise us to access (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, GCP
Billing, Azure Cost Management) — we access only what is necessary to deliver the
Services
• Identity and single sign-on data from providers such as Google Workspace or Okta, when
you choose to authenticate via those services
We use the information we collect to:
• Deliver, operate, and improve the Quper platform and its features
• Personalise dashboards, alerts, and recommendations to your infrastructure
profile
• Communicate important service updates, security notices, and — where you have opted in
— product news
• Conduct aggregate, de-identified analytics to understand usage patterns and prioritise
the roadmap
• Comply with applicable legal obligations and enforce our agreements
• Detect, investigate, and prevent security incidents and fraudulent
activity
We do not sell your personal information, nor do we use it to train third-party AI
models without your explicit consent. Cloud cost and infrastructure data you connect to
Quper is used solely to power your account — it is never shared with other customers,
used for benchmarking without your consent, or retained after you close your account.
We share personal information only in limited circumstances:
• Service providers: Sub-processors who help us operate the Services
(cloud hosting, analytics, payment processing) under strict data processing
agreements.
• Your organisation: If your account is provisioned under a company
plan, authorised administrators within that organisation may access account
data.
• Legal requirements: When disclosure is required by law, regulation,
or valid legal process — we will notify you where permitted.
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or
asset sale, where the acquiring entity is bound by this policy or provides equivalent
protections.
We do not share personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
We retain personal information for as long as your account remains active or
as needed to provide the Services. You may request deletion of your account and
associated data at any time by contacting us at connect@xequalto.com.
Certain data may be retained
for longer periods where required by law (for example, financial records) or for
legitimate business purposes such as dispute resolution and enforcement of agreements.
In such cases, data is isolated from active processing and subject to appropriate
technical controls.
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to
protect your information — including encryption at rest and in transit, role-based
access controls, and continuous security monitoring.
No system is entirely
without risk. In the event of a security incident that materially affects your data, we
will notify you in accordance with applicable data protection law.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Object to or restrict certain types of processing
• Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior
processing
To exercise these rights, contact us at connect@xequalto.com. We will respond within the timeframe
required by applicable law.
We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember
preferences, and understand how the Services are used. You can control cookie settings
through your browser. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect service
functionality.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site
tracking technologies.
The Services are not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice within the platform at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Services after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
